Prostrate cancer - $30,000 raised for 2 Forsyth deputies with cancer

About $30,000 was raised Saturday for two Forsyth County sheriff's deputies who are battling cancer. Colleagues of deputies Tab Carpenter and Ron Tumlin organized the fund-raising barbecue that drew more than 1,000 people to South Forsyth High School. Carpenter recently was diagnosed with colon cancer. Tumlin is being treated for a malignant brain tumor.
